Heather Cruz

Heather is the Founder and Director of Meadows Center for Mental Health Services, LLC. She received her Master’s degree in Counseling and Psychological Services through St. Mary’s University of Minnesota and is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). Heather is nationally certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) through the DBT-Linehan Board of Certification (DBT-LBC), and is the team lead for the agency's nationally certified DBT team. Heather is extensively trained in Prolonged Exposure (PE and DBT-PE) to treat PTSD, and is an IS-ART Master (Accelerated Resolution Therapy) Practitioner. She specializes in First Responder mental wellness, and offers wellness programming to first responder departments. Heather is a Minnesota Board Certified Supervisor for LPC and LPCC clinicians, and offers supervision to clinical licensees and graduate-level interns.
Heather is passionate about supporting clients in recovering from trauma and coping well with life’s challenges. She believes in using empirically based treatment strategies in therapy, while also helping individuals explore and integrate their personal belief system, culture, and story into their healing journey. She has a background in elementary education and is a licensed teacher. Heather is a part of the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC), and welcomes conversations about faith, if this is desired by clients.
Joy Kliber

Joy is Licensed in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Previously Elected as an NASW board member in Minnesota and Indiana, Ms. Kliber has also served as adjunct professor, field placement Liaison, and thesis committee member for multiple universities. Having the privilege of supervising some of the finest and most dedicated interns in several states, it is recognized that removing the stigma from the delivery of Mental Health is the next frontier of service.
With national and international experience, her professional mission includes support of each individual to their highest level of adjustment: Practicing mental hygiene and supporting brain health similar to one's dental hygiene. Ms. Kliber's efforts in community health earned Social Work plus Business and Professional Women (BPW) Awards; working with teens at risk, and families.
A significant portion of practice is now devoted to Business and Management Consultation and Employee Assistance Programs which she has served, and in some cases, partnered in their development. Areas of strength include: Work/Life adjustment/Mental Health Management, Grief, Military and Government: Occupational and Family Life Support, Transition, and Co-parenting successfully. Sessions are welcome to include Spirituality and/or previous recovery experiences with chemical or process addiction.

Jenny Langholz (she/her/hers)

Jenny is passionate about helping people heal from trauma, build resilience, and create lives that feel meaningful and fulfilling. As a nationally certified Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) therapist through the DBT-Linehan Board of Certification (DBT-LBC), she combines evidence-based treatment with a compassionate, collaborative, and practical approach.
She enjoys helping clients make sense of difficult experiences while building the skills and confidence needed to create lasting change. Although therapy often involves talking about painful topics, Jenny believes there is also room for humor and moments of lightness. She finds that laughter can make difficult conversations feel a little more manageable and reminds us that healing doesn't have to be heavy all the time. She also welcomes conversations about faith and spirituality for those who wish to include those aspects in their therapeutic journey.
Jenny has advanced training in Prolonged Exposure (PE and DBT-PE) and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) for the treatment of trauma and PTSD. She has a special interest in helping trauma survivors reclaim their lives.
Jenny is also a Certified First Responder Counselor (CFRC) and enjoys working with first responders, appreciating the unique challenges they face both on and off the job.
Above all, Jenny strives to create a warm, authentic, and supportive environment where people feel accepted as they are while gaining the skills and confidence to build the life they want to live.
Becky Bunke

Becky received her master’s degree in social work from the University of St. Thomas/College of St. Catherine in St. Paul, MN. She is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker licensed in Minnesota and Wisconsin. In 2024, she completed the LADC curriculum at Rochester Technical Community College. Becky has worked in the social work field since 2001; working in mental health in many different capacities; children’s case management, child protection, school based mental health work, in home family therapy, clinical supervision, outpatient chemical dependency treatment, and individual and group mental health therapy. Becky has experience working with children, adolescents with co-occurring conditions, adult with co-occurring conditions, along with individuals with trauma exposure. She has also worked at the county level with family assessment in child protective services, and in a juvenile detention center to provide mental health services. She has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and families dealing with complex issues including depression, anxiety, parent/child relationships issues, attachment disruptions, behavioral/self-regulation issues, communication issues, addiction and trauma. She is currently focusing her practice to work with adults with co-occurring illness, adults in the military and other professions using Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Accelerated Resolution Therapy, and Prolonged Exposure.
Becky is trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Prolonged Exposure, Accelerated Resolution Therapy, and substance abuse counseling. Becky is also an approved clinical supervisor for both the Social Work and BBHT board and is open to working with new practitioners to obtain their license. Becky is very passionate in her profession and creates a warm and non-judgmental environment for those she works with, along with open and honest communication. Becky strongly believes in developing safe and professional relationships with clients to increase success with any therapeutic changes.
Donn Schroeder

Originally from Illinois, Donn has a background in theology and the local church. He spent some years in the workforce in the Chicago area, then served two churches in Minnesota and Wisconsin over a 20-year period as a full-time pastor. Donn received his masters degree in clinical social work (MSW) from Widener University, and is a Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW). Donn specializes in Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Narrative Therapy, with experience in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Domestic Violence group therapy. He believes in shaping treatments that build the spirit of a person – their identity, their personal value, and sense of purpose. Tim Anderson

Tim has been working in the field of chemical dependency and mental health for over ten years. Tim is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and a Licensed Alcohol Drug Counselor. Tim has his Associate’s Degree in Alcohol and Drug Counseling from Rochester Community and Technical College (RCTC); a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota; and a Master’s Degree in Counseling and Psychological Services from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota. Tim is also an Adjunct Faculty at RCTC and a board-approved supervisor for interns and candidates seeking licensure in alcohol and drug counseling.
Tim is a Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) trained therapist, a DBT Prolonged Exposure (PE) trained therapist, and an EMDRIA Trained Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapist. Tim is a cofacilitator for several of our groups, including DBT for Adults, DBT for Substance Use Disorder (SUD), and DBT for Binge-Eating Disorder (BED). Tim enjoys working with clients experiencing complex trauma, severe emotional dysregulation, high levels of distress, and clients with co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders.
Dana Sanderson

Dana received her Master's degree in Professional Studies and Counseling at the University of Minnesota. She is also a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) and board certified clinical supervisor for individuals seeking licensure in alcohol and drug counseling. Dana has eight years of experience in working with individuals in co-occurring treatment settings. She is experienced in working with those who have battled with substance use disorder (SUD's) and she recognizes the impact of complicated grief and trauma has had on these individuals.
The services Dana provides are mental health and chemical health assessments, individual therapy, and group therapy. Dana is a passionate member of the dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) treatment team. Dana also specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy, & faith-based counseling (by request). She is trained in the following trauma modalities: Prolonged Exposure (PE & DBT -PE) and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART).

Amy’s passion is to provide a secure and empathetic environment where teens or adults can experience ongoing healing and growth. Amy has a master’s degree in Counseling, with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Counseling, from Hope International University. She has been a part of the Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) team at Meadows Center for three years and provides individual therapy and facilitates DBT Skills Groups. In addition to DBT, Amy specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and welcomes conversations about faith if a client desires.
Laurel Light

Laurel has a master’s degree from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota in Counseling Psychology. She is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. Laurel has eight years of experience working in a residential facility as a mental health practitioner/professional. She has been providing psychotherapy services for the past eight years. Laurel has experience overseeing adult mental health case management services, adult rehabilitative mental health services, and providing licensing supervision. Laurel enjoys working with adults and adolescents. She uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) in therapy sessions to promote wellness and growth.

Mary Kay Sharp

Mary Kay is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. She received her Master of Science Degree from Winona State in Community Counseling and attended St Mary’s University for numerous graduate classes. She did Living in Process Facilitator Training with Wilson-Schaef Associates, Boulder Montana for five years. She is a Body Mind Vibrance Coach and graduate of the two-year apprentice program with the Hendricks Institute and Foundation for Conscious Living in Santa Barbara California. She got her Bachelor of Science Degree with a minor in Woman’s Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Her background was as a Registered Nurse, having graduated from St Joseph’s School of Nursing in Marshfield WI.
Mary Kay's approach to counseling draws on various techniques and strategies, including body centered principles, practices, tools and exercises. She enjoys facilitating the creation of genuine relationships with self and others and helping remove unconscious commitments which can hold us back from experiencing life fully, authentically and joyfully.
Mary Kay’s experience is varied and wide in areas that include family therapy, chemical dependency, men’s abuse groups, cognitive skills groups, developmental disabilities, and hospice. She is sensitive, compassionate, playful and insightful in her work with individuals, couples, families and groups.
Mary Kay enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and family. She feels especially nourished by time in nature and walks with her dog, Shadow.
Coreina Yanez

Coreina received her Master's degree in Social Work from Winona State University and is a Licensed Social Worker. She has 10 years of working in the Social Work field with experience providing culturally responsive programs on topics like healthy relationships and self-esteem to children and adolescents. She also has experience working in co-occurring residential settings, adult mental health case management, adult rehabilitative services, and as a mental health practitioner in a residential facility.
Coreina enjoys working with children, adolescents, and caregivers. She is trained in the Attachment Regulation and Competency Framework (ARC), supporting children who have experienced complex trauma and working with families to build strong, healthy relationships. She has a caring and compassionate nature and a passion for supporting individuals throughout their mental health journey. When not working, Coreina enjoys spending time in nature with her pups.

Sarah Rose

A new(ish) transplant to Minnesota, Sarah earned her Master of Social Work from Boston University and is licensed as a Licensed Graduate Social Worker. She has ten years of experience working with youth and young adults in education, housing, substance use, and acute mental health. Sarah receives supervision outside of Meadows. Her passion is in supporting youth and young adults with an intentional strengths-based focus on the systems that affect their lives. Sarah has been trained in mindfulness and breath-work, systems theory, and humanistic therapy. She particularly enjoys using humor and pop culture references in her sessions, much to the chagrin of many of her clients. Sarah has a soft spot for working with immigrant families, military families, and individuals of color. She welcomes conversations about gender and sexuality, religious trauma, and parenthood.
Raised in South Korea and North Carolina, Sarah had a background in history and anthropology from New York University before transitioning into social work. In her free time, Sarah enjoys reading fantasy and historical fiction, going to the gym, thrifting antiques, watching horror movies, snuggling with her family, and complaining about how "it's not the cold temperatures that gets you, it's the wind!"

Ashley is a dedicated therapist working toward full licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), who is passionate about supporting clients on their journey toward healing and self-discovery. Her approach is grounded in person-centered therapy and motivational interviewing, creating a compassionate, collaborative space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered.
Ashley has experience working with individuals navigating trauma and deeply values the connection between the body and mind in the healing process. She integrates somatic awareness and mindfulness-based strategies to help clients reconnect with themselves and build resilience. She also has a growing interest and experience in supporting clients as they explore and cultivate healthy sexuality, helping to foster a deeper sense of self-acceptance and wholeness.
She believes that therapy should be a place where clients feel safe to explore who they are, where they've been, and where they want to go. Ashley is LGBTQ+ affirming and dedicated to creating a supportive, nonjudgmental space where all identities are respected and celebrated and is honored to walk alongside them in that process.
Kayleigh Cleveland

Kayleigh holds a Master's degree in Counseling from Crown College and enjoys working with adults and adolescents navigating trauma, life transitions, emotional challenges, and faith-related concerns. She also offers Christian counseling for clients who want to integrate their faith into the healing process, while also providing a respectful and inclusive space for individuals of all backgrounds.
Her approach draws from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Person-Centered Therapy. She believes therapy is most effective when it’s tailored to your unique experiences, strengths, and goals.
Above all, Kayleigh strives to create a warm and welcoming environment where you can be yourself, feel heard, and gain both support and practical tools for healing and growth.
When she's not in the therapy room, she enjoys spending time outdoors, playing guitar, connecting with friends, and being involved in her church community. She also loves exploring local coffee shops and soaking in the cozy vibes of her favorite season—fall—especially when there’s football on.

Mike Stensland, PhD, earned his doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Ohio University and is currently working toward licensure under the supervision of a Licensed Psychologist. He specializes in working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, and life transitions, as well as couples seeking to strengthen their relationship or navigate difficult seasons together.
Mike works with couples using the Gottman Method, a research-based approach to couples therapy that focuses on deepening friendship and intimacy, improving communication, and developing skills for managing conflict in healthier ways. He has a particular interest in working with couples in stepfamilies, supporting partners as they build their relationship while navigating the unique dynamics and challenges that blended family life brings.
Mike is committed to helping clients navigate change, rebuild confidence, and move toward more meaningful and satisfying lives. He brings warmth, clarity, and a collaborative spirit to his work, combining scientific rigor with a deep respect for each client's individual journey.

Noah is a recent graduate with a masters degree in clinical mental health counseling from Cornerstone University currently pursuing licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). Noah spent his internship focused on learning Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), teaching DBT skills groups and applying those skills in individual therapy with adolescents and adults. He continues to develop his skills for working with clients recovering from trauma and believes in helping others see both their boundless worth and their incredible ability to make the change they want to see. He is also a self-described nerd who loves to decorate his office with Dungeons and Dragons miniatures, and has lived in Minnesota for about two years.

Kaleigh received a Master of Arts degree in Counseling from Crown College. She enjoys working with individuals ages 10 and up navigating depression, anxiety, ADHD, life transitions, emotional challenges, faith-related concerns, and more. Kaleigh uses a Choice Theory Reality Therapy approach and offers faith-integrated counseling for those who want to incorporate their religious beliefs into the process. She has experience in emotional regulation and communication skill building with children and adolescents. She also has experience working with young adults traversing depression, anxiety, and life transitions. Kaleigh desires to inspire individuals to take back control over their lives and build stronger relationships. She works to provide a supportive, encouraging, and engaging environment.
Outside of the office, Kaleigh enjoys hiking, fishing, and playing piano. She is a coffee maker and consumer who finds joy in creating latte hearts and drinking a hot cup of coffee every morning.
